Two generations.
One standard.
— ABOUT ALLOY BUILDERS
Choosing a builder is one of the most important decisions a homeowner or investor can make and we built Alloy Builders to be the kind of company you don't have to second guess.
As a family-run company spanning two generations, our work is personal. Since 1989, we've brought over three decades of hands-on experience across residential and commercial construction. We've delivered projects through changing markets, evolving building standards, and multiple construction eras, all while maintaining a reputation for quality and reliability.
What sets us apart is simple: no shortcuts, no compromises. We approach every project with precision, backed by rigorous inspections and a commitment to doing things right the first time.
Just as important is our team. Many of our employees have been with us for decades something rare in this industry. That continuity means every project is handled by experienced professionals who take pride in their work and treat each build like their own.
We've also proven our reliability when it matters most. From helping rebuild communities in Louisiana after devastating hurricanes to supporting homeowners affected by the Altadena fires, we've consistently stepped in during times of need.
For our clients, it comes down to one thing: confidence. Confidence that timelines will be respected. That quality won't be sacrificed. That the team you hire will stand behind their work. We don't just complete projects we deliver peace of mind.

Meet the Builders
Richard "Rick" Rodriguez
Founder · Est. 1989
I started this company in 1989 with a simple goal: to build quality work and do things the right way.
My career began during the housing boom of the 1980s as a superintendent carpenter with Baker Framing Company. That’s where I built my foundation in framing and custom home construction.
Early in my career, I worked in Louisiana after Hurricane Juan, helping rebuild homes for families who had lost everything. That experience stayed with me and shaped how I approach this work, not just as a job, but as a responsibility to the people we build for.
For over 30 years, I’ve stayed hands-on and focused on the details. I don’t believe in shortcuts or cutting corners. If we’re going to build something, it needs to be done right.
Today, those same values continue through Alloy Builders and the way we approach every project.
Justin Rodriguez
Co-Owner · Construction Manager
I grew up on construction sites alongside my dad, learning the trade firsthand from an early age. That experience shaped how I approach work today. It is disciplined, detail-focused, and centered on doing things right the first time.
After earning my degree in Construction Management, I began my career as an estimator in New Mexico. I later moved into a Construction Inspector role in Los Angeles, where I spent six years overseeing a wide range of projects.
During that time, I gained experience across all phases of construction including small residential remodels, single-family homes, apartment complexes, subdivisions, and large-scale commercial builds. Between 2017 and 2021, I worked on multi-story developments that required a higher level of coordination, precision, and accountability.
That experience gave me a clear understanding of what separates a good project from a great one.
Today, I bring a combination of field experience and construction management expertise to Alloy Builders. I stay closely involved in the work and take pride in helping clients and investors execute their vision with clarity, efficiency, and confidence, while continuing the standards that have defined our family business since 1989.
